Materials and constitutive laws

Our laboratory focuses on multifunctional materials, from their processing to their applications. Understanding their behavior in relation to the manufacturing process lies at the core of the laboratory’s activities. This is achieved through structural, electrical, thermal, mechanical, and multiphysics characterizations (electromechanical, magnetocaloric, etc.), and is most often supported by modeling and simulation of material behavior.
